about our Center

Abiinooji-Aki is located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation near Hayward, WI.  For over 26 years, our mission
has been to assist the Lac Courte Oreilles tribe's efforts to combat the high rates of alcohol and drug abuse among
its members, to improve mental health issues, to empower women, and to foster the spiritual growth
of our people and others who seek to learn Traditional Ojibwe ways.
